Porkbun Market Now on Notify.domains
Founder, Notify.domains · ex-GoDaddy Director of Education · founder, DomainSherpa & DNAcademy
If you register domains at Porkbun, you already know the pitch: transparent pricing, real support, and a product that does not take itself too seriously. Porkbun also runs Porkbun Market, a for-sale catalog where owners list names at a published ask. Until now, those listings did not sit next to Afternic, Sedo, Atom, Efty, Spaceship, NamePros, Gname, and Unstoppable Domains in one place while you tracked a domain.
They do now.
What shipped
Porkbun Market is a production marketplace partner on Notify.domains. When a domain you monitor is listed in Porkbun Market, you see it on the Marketplaces tab with the current ask and a link into Porkbun’s search for that name on porkbun.com.
You get the same marketplace alerts as our other venues: instant email, Slack, Telegram, or webhook when a listing appears, when the headline price moves, or when the listing is removed. Open your dashboard, pick a domain you already monitor, and open Marketplaces. Porkbun Market appears alongside the partners you already know when we have data for that name.
The Pricing chart can include Porkbun Market as its own series when an ask exists, so a drop or relist is visible next to Afternic, Sedo, and the rest. History records those changes when you need the trail later.
Why this matters
Porkbun’s growth is not a quiet niche. Domain Name Wire reported in August 2026 that Porkbun hit four million domains under management, with about 750,000 active domain customers and more than 1.5 million .com names in that footprint. DNW also noted the growth as organic, and called out Porkbun’s end-user and developer tilt: wholesale-plus-fee pricing, light upsell pressure, and a base that is not built only on discounted novelty TLDs.
That mix matters for acquisition watchlists. Names that live at a registrar popular with builders and small teams often list for sale on that registrar’s own market when the owner is ready, not only on Afternic or Sedo. If you already renew or register at Porkbun, or you chase brandables that tend to sit in developer-heavy portfolios, missing Porkbun Market means missing a listing path that never appears on the venues you refresh by habit.
We still apply the same auction-versus-marketplace rules you already have. When a domain is in a bid-style auction elsewhere and also shows a Porkbun Market ask, the dashboard tells you to use the auction. For the broader aftermarket picture, see aftermarket monitoring and how to get a domain that is taken.
What you will see in alerts
Market headlines look like our other marketplace rows: a clear ask when the domain is listed. Supporting fields on the dashboard (View Listing and related detail) help you act. The headline row is what drives notifications.
If a watched name is not in Porkbun Market, that card stays empty. Your Afternic, Sedo, Atom, and other marketplace signals are unchanged.
Who this helps
Founders who already keep domains at Porkbun and want one alert when a target lists there. Investors watching developer-friendly brandables that often renew at Porkbun. Brokers explaining multi-venue asks to clients who first saw a name in Porkbun search. Anyone who already uses domain name monitoring for marketplace price moves and wants Porkbun Market in the same watchlist.
If your process is still “I check Porkbun when I remember,” you already know the gap. Listings do not wait for your browser habits.
