Notify.domains vs Bishopi
Founder, Notify.domains · ex-GoDaddy Director of Education · founder, DomainSherpa & DNAcademy
Bishopi calls itself "the #1 platform to research, appraise and monitor domain names in one place," and it is built for domain investors. Appraisals on real sales comps. Price trends. Fresh drops. SEO data and APIs. An AI chatbot. Its monitor watches any domain, owned or not, for WHOIS, DNS, and expiry changes and for reputation problems. Paid plans check every 120 minutes on Starter down to every 15 on Enterprise, and alerts go by email or webhook.
Its investor page says you will hear when a name is listed for sale, drops in price, or goes to auction. It does not say which marketplaces or auction houses that covers. Notify.domains names every one: eleven auction houses and eleven marketplaces, plus the registry and the website. If you are paying to be told about a listing, the list of places matters.
Which one to use
Choose Bishopi if
You invest in domains and want appraisals, comparable sales, price trends, and expired-name discovery in the same tool as your monitor. Its own pitch is that it replaces EstiBot, NameBio, and four other tabs. If research is most of your day and monitoring is a side feature, that is a fair trade.
Choose Notify.domains if
You have a short list of names you want to buy and you want each one watched everywhere it can turn up. You want to know which venue an alert came from, the price and how much it moved, whether the site is still live, and which drop-catch services cover the extension if it expires. You can try one name for 7 days without a card.
Bishopi and Notify.domains, feature by feature
Bishopi's homepage, pricing page, FAQ, domain monitor page, fresh drops, brand monitor, and health check pages, its API pages, and its page for domain investors were read on 7 November 2026. Its pricing table and FAQ disagree on whether the free plan includes monitoring; we quote the table. "Not advertised" means it was not on the pages we read.

A platform with a monitor, or a monitor
Bishopi's monitor is one feature in a large product, and the plans are priced around credits for research as much as monitor slots. The free plan has 100 credits a month and, by the pricing table, no monitors. Starter gives you 10. That is a sensible shape for someone who appraises names all day and watches a few.
It is a different shape from a watch. We sell one thing, and it is the same on every name: the registry, the website, every auction house and marketplace we cover, and the alert channels you choose. There is no higher plan that turns on auctions or faster checks.
Why the venue list matters
A name you want can surface in very different places. An owner lists it on Atom or Spaceship. An expired GoDaddy name goes to GoDaddy Auctions. A Network Solutions name goes to NameJet and SnapNames. A caught drop goes to auction at DropCatch. If a monitor says it watches "listings" without naming them, there is no way to know whether the place your name surfaced was covered.
We publish ours. The aftermarket coverage census lists every venue we watch. Domain auction monitoring explains what each alert includes.

The features behind this watch
All featuresAuction Platforms
Expiring domains are sold at auction long before they drop, and each registrar uses a different venue. We watch them all so you do not have to guess which one to check.
Complete Monitoring
All of the above on one watch: registration data, website health, auctions, marketplaces, and drop timing, at 30+ checks a day per domain.
Aftermarkets
Most good names are for sale somewhere at some price. We watch the resale marketplaces for listings and price moves, so you buy on a dip instead of at full ask.
